  • Ezer EPD-2600 Pupillometer
A reliable pupillometer is a requirement for modern-day optical dispensing and this particular Ezer unit features everything your practice needs—including vertex distance measurement capabilities. The EPD-2600 efficiently measures the distance between the visual axes of the two eyes. Good PD measurements are essential for proper optical alignment and binocular vision. With the EPD-2600 you will enjoy wide range measurement capabilities, digital read and LED—all in a lightweight device that is accurate, consistent and easy to use Features of the EPD-2600 Pupillometer ▪ Easy to Use ▪ PD and Vertex ▪ Wide Range Measurements ▪ Digital Read ▪ Adjustable LED ▪ Power-Save More Reliable than Millimeter Rule It takes a tremendous amount of skill to accurately and consistently perform PDs by millimeter rule. A nasal cut for monocular PDs and a penlight to highlight the corneal reflex are all required and depend upon very good technique. On the other hand, pupillometers minimize errors, require less skill, are faster and reduce variability. PD and Vertex The EPD-2600 with Vertex Distance offers ease of use along with accuracy when measuring pupil distance. Now your staff can consistently measure binocular and monocular pupillary distance (PD). The measuring range is an impressive 44mm to 83mm binocular and 22mm to 41.5mm monocular.
